Terms of Service

1. The service

Vasly is a tool for rating, comparing and tracking rental and for-sale properties, available as a web app and as native iOS and Android apps. Free trial accounts are limited (2 units, 4 categories). Paid plans unlock the full feature set, including unit photos (up to 10 per unit), floor-plan PDF upload, share links, co-rater links, listing URL import, and CSV import. License codes redeemed via the in-app upgrade screen extend premium access for the period stated on the code.

2. Accounts

You must be 16 or older. You're responsible for your account credentials and for any activity under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication in Settings for an additional layer of protection. Do not share your account; Vasly enforces single-device sign-in for non-admin users, and a password reset will sign you out of every other session.

3. Acceptable use

Don't upload illegal, infringing, harassing, or pornographic content. Don't attempt to attack the service, scrape other users' data, or impersonate anyone. We may suspend or delete accounts violating these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add to Vasly: your apartments, ratings, notes, photos (subscribers, up to 10 per unit), and floor-plan PDFs (subscribers, one per unit). By using Vasly you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content for the sole purpose of running the service for you, including showing it on any share link you create. Public share links are read-only and only accessible to people you give the URL to.

You are responsible for what you upload. For every photo and any other material you add, you confirm that you took or created it yourself, or that you have the rights and permission to use it on Vasly, and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights. Listing photos taken by an agent, landlord, or photographer are usually owned by them; do not upload them unless you have permission.

If you upload content you do not have the right to use, you agree to indemnify and hold Vasly and its operator harmless against any claim, demand, loss, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) that results from that content. We may remove any content, and suspend or close any account, in response to a credible infringement complaint. See our Copyright Policy for how to report infringing material and how repeat infringers are handled.

5. Payment, refunds, and pricing

Subscription pricing is shown on the upgrade screen.

Automatic renewal. All Vasly subscriptions are auto-renewing. Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for that plan, and the payment method on file is charged at the start of each new period. Consumer plans (Standard and Plus) renew every month (a monthly billing interval). Company and agent plans renew on the interval you selected at checkout: monthly plans renew every month and annual plans renew every 12 months. Renewal continues, and you will keep being charged each period, until you cancel. To cancel, open Settings - Manage subscription on the web (which opens the Stripe customer portal), or, for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, cancel through your Apple or Google account subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and no prorated refund is issued for the remainder of that period (see below).

No prorated refunds are issued for the current period after deletion or downgrade; the remaining time is forfeited. License codes are single-use and non-transferable. Where local law requires a cooling-off period (e.g. 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU), we honor it for first-time payments only.

6. Staging credit packs

Staging credit packs are one-time, consumable purchases that add staging credits to your account. Packs are sold via Stripe on the web and as consumable in-app purchases on iOS and Android (where Apple's or Google's billing terms apply). They are available in four sizes: 5 stagings for $7.99, 15 stagings for $17.99, 40 stagings for $39.99, and 100 stagings for $94.99.

7. Company and agent plans

Company plans are billed via Stripe on the web only; they are not available as an in-app purchase. Pricing is per agent, and the number of agents on the plan is the subscription quantity (you are billed for the number of agent seats you hold).

Adding or removing agents adjusts the subscription quantity, with the change prorated for the current billing period. If a company on a monthly plan grows past 4 agents, the plan moves to the annual company plan.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or remove abused features at any time. We back up data regularly but always keep your own export.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms, prolonged inactivity (after notice), or if running the service becomes uneconomic. We'll give 30 days' notice in non-breach cases and let you export your data.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Vasly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Ratings and benchmarks are decision-support tools, not professional advice. Always verify property facts (rent, fees, square footage, lease terms) with the landlord, agent, or your lawyer before signing anything.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vasly's total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 (whichever is greater). We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of an apartment or financial decisions made using the app. This limit doesn't override consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is based. Where you have rights under local law (EU/UK consumer law, US state laws), those rights are not affected.

13. Changes

We'll announce material changes in the in-app changelog. If you don't agree with a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect.
